Fine by me.
I’m glad you agree, gorgeous.

The water wasn’t even cold, but Quinn decided that she was going to blame the rather warm water surrounding her waist for the goosebumps on her tan skin, and the shivers that were occasionally sent down her spine. But of course she knew that it was Santana and her words and her voice and hell, just everything about that gorgeous girl that was doing this to her body. “I believe it’s back home, well not really home, in Indiana.. It has to be tucked away in a closet somewhere,” Quinn explained the whereabouts of her cheer leading uniform as she trailed a little behind Santana, relying on her to navigate the way for the both of them, with their hands still pleasantly connected. And for one split second the thought of trust popped inside of Quinn’s mind, the thought of how she was trusting her with leading her to deeper seas somehow gave Quinn a sense of comfort. She didn’t have many people to trust in her life, not even her own parents. And Quinn had always told herself to never trust someone with her own heart, because she knew in the end her heart would end up shattered in a million pieces. But now that she was looking at the smile on Santana’s face and how secure she felt when she held her hand, she thought that maybe, just maybe she’d be able to trust this girl.
“I’m not being a charmer, coffee,” Quinn told her with a smirk now that they were face to face, “I’m simply stating the obvious, you see.” And Santana’s beauty was obvious, and Quinn was certain that if you asked anybody on the beach right now, or anyone on the Earth ever if Santana was beautiful, they’d definitely agree. The next few seconds were a blur, and after feeling those wonderfully soft, just as she’d imagined, lips, Quinn had no choice but to stand still in utter shock. Only running after Santana after realizing what’d just happened.
You would think that Santana would get used to the compliments that Quinn threw at her, just hearing the blonde’s sweet voice ‘stating the obvious’ definitely made her heart pitter patter. The Latina was definitely falling for her; her smile, her laugh, the slight giggle she has whenever Santana tried to compliment her, her lips, her hazel eyes. Just everything about her drove Santana crazy and there definitely was no way to stop it. She wasn’t someone who would give their whole heart to, or exactly trust - Quinn was different. From the first day they started speaking, Santana knew that there was a connection between them and there was no way to deny it. She decided to like it soak it and see how it plays out.
Santana chuckled lightly as she turned her head to see Quinn’s face - flustered - before she noticed the blonde running after her. She stopped and laughed at her, splashing the salt water at the other girl screaming slightly at the girl. “Hey! I just wanted to repay you for that kiss, Fabray!” She said as she continued to splash water at her - squinting so the water would get into her eyes. Laughter seemed to fill the air, “Stop! Stop. Okay, I give. No more chasing. I’m getting a little tired.” She panted, moving her way back to Quinn. Santana found herself in front of the girl, her hands tuck onto the girl’s waist, just trying to keep them both steady from the light waves. “This is nice.” She commented in a murmur, her eyes dodging Quinn’s shyly.
You are so stubborn.
I know, and you can’t really change my opinion about you.
